So, today we will talk about the differences, usages and examples among and, or, but in details..

1- And
Usage: 1- when an action follows another one.
Example: Sara sent her CV to the company and waited for their call.
* Notes:
In the first action: Sara sent her CV
In the second one: She waited for the company’s call

2- Linking two similar words or sentences to each other
Example: I love cats and dogs
* Note: Both Cats and Dogs are pets

2- But
Usage: 
to suggest a contrast.

Examples:
1- She is rich but he is unhappy
* Note: Here is the contrast ”rich” but ”unhappy”

2- He was ill but he went to work.
* Note: Here is the contrast ”ill” but ”work” 

3- Or
Usage: suggest that only one possibility can be chosen.

Examples:
1- He doesn’t know if he’s right or wrong
* Note: Here there are 2 possibilities ”right” or ”wrong”

2- You can have tea or coffee.
* Note: Here there are 2 choices ”tea” or ”coffee”

Let’s start with the common things among these 4 Words
These words are used with the present perfect tense although yetstill and already can be used with the other tenses. 😀

Now, let’s move on to another point and it is the differences among these 4 keywords ^_^

The differences among them are both the Usage and the Meaning

1- Just
Meaning:
a short time ago

Usage:
It is usually used only with the present perfect tense between “have” and the past participle.

Examples:
– I have just seen Sara coming out of the Museum.
– Have you just taken my book, Mark? I can’t find it anywhere! 🙁

2- Still
Meaning
Something hasn’t finished.

Usage
Talking about something that hasn’t finished yet

Examples
– I’ve been waiting for an hour and my friend still hasn’t come.
– Are you still working in the School?

3-Yet
Meaning
at any time up to now

Usage
talking about something which is expected to happen.
It is used in the cases of questions and negatives.
usually comes at the end of the sentence.

Examples
– Have you finished your homework yet? 😀
– I haven’t finished reading the novel yet.

Already
Meaning:
It is used to say that something has happened earlier than it should be.

Usage:
In mid-position.

Examples:
– I have already spent my salary and it’s 3 weeks before pay day.
– The bus has already left! What are you going to do?
